George joined the board as Non Executive Chairman in May 2007. He has a successful track record in growing and building technology companies. From 2000 to 2007 he was Chief Finance Officer of Wolfson Microelectronics plc one of the leading global providers of high performance mixed-signal semiconductors to the consumer electronics market. George is Non Executive Chairman of Craneware plc and SFX Technologies Ltd and Non Executive Director of Summit plc, ClearSpeed Technology plc and Corsair Memory Inc. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. |

Peter led the world-renowned research group at Edinburgh University that innovated the CMOS image sensor. Peter led the spin out of this group to form VISION to commercialise this work. As CEO of VISION he grew the business to lead its worldwide market, displacing established Japanese CCD technology in a large proportion of consumer applications and producing millions of units per annum. VISION’s IPO in 1995 valued the business at £25M and by 1999, when the business was acquired by ST Microelectronics, it had grown to 90 staff with production and sales offices around the globe. Peter is now business angel, focusing on a small selection of new businesses with which he is intimately involved. In addition to MED, he co-founded and Chaired Rhetorical Group plc, a leading speech synthesis company, which was sold to Scansoft Inc. in 2005. He chairs two other technology companies: Eleksen Ltd. and QFT Ltd. |
| Glenn Collinson, Non-executive Director |

Mr Collinson is a co-founder of CSR plc. He served as an executive director on CSR’s board of directors as Marketing Director and then Sales Director between the Company’s foundation in November 1998, through IPO in February 2004 and up to May 2007. Mr Collinson also served as a non-executive director of Sonaptic Ltd. from April 2005 until its successful sale to Wolfson plc in July 2007. Between October 1996 and November 1999, Mr Collinson served as a senior engineer and then as a marketing manager at Cambridge Consultants Ltd. Prior to that, he served as a design engineer and marketing manager at Texas Instruments, Motorola and Racal. After retiring from CSR plc in May 2007, Mr Collinson has served as a non-executive director of DiBcom and currently provides consultancy services to DiBcom and other high-tech start-ups thorughout Europe in the Wireless Fabless Silicon sector. Mr Collinson holds a B.Sc. in Physics and an M.Sc. in Electronics from Durham University and an MBA from Cranfield University. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers. |

Bill Miller was appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer in October 2005. He joined MED as Chief Operating Officer in July 2005. Prior to this Bill was Vice President and General Manager for Motorola’s UK Semiconductor operations. As a member of the European Leadership Team he was primarily active in defining and implementing regional strategies leading to impressive business results in a $1.5B sales organisation. Following the separation of this business and its re-branding as Freescale Semiconductors, he served a dual role, continuing to lead the UK Operations but additionally serving as Country Head for UK, Ireland, the Netherlands and Spain. As a board member of Motorola UK Ltd, reporting to the UK Chairman, Bill had broad exposure to all areas of Motorola’s businesses and extensive experience including the start up of a major manufacturing operation in Hong Kong and the management of a large P&L within the UK and internationally. In a career spanning 21 years, Bill has served many roles in diverse areas of increasing responsibility. He is a Chartered Engineer (IEE) and has a degree in Engineering and Business Studies. |
| Graeme N Walker, Finance Director |

Graeme N Walker joined MED as Finance Director in April 2006. Before this, Graeme was at Freescale Semiconductor Inc., one of the largest chipmakers in the US and a constituent of the S&P 500, where he headed up its European finance function as Chief Financial Officer EMEA. Prior to joining Freescale, Graeme held several positions within Rolls Royce Plc’s Tax and Treasury departments. He has an MA Honours in Economics from the University of Edinburgh and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Graeme is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. |
