MED is the Project Coordinator for the EU-funded FP7 project: “HYPOLED - High-Performance OLED-Microdisplays for See-Through Mobile Multimedia Applications.” A paper on the HYPOLED project will be presented at the 2008 NEM Summit on 13th October during Session B2: Enabling Technologies II - Displays and Imaging.

The 2008 NEM Summit will be held at the Palais du Grand Large, Saint-Malo, France from 13 - 15th October, 2008.

MED will attend Photokina 2008 at the Cologne Messe from 23 - 28th September 2008.

Professor Ian Underwood, Chief Scientific Adviser for MicroEmissive Displays, will present a talk at Plastic Electronics Asia 2008 entitled: “P-OLED microdisplays progress into the market”. His talk will take place during the Displays session on 26th June from 14:30 - 15:00 and will cover an introduction to microdisplay technology and applications; P-OLED microdisplay technology and products; and progress in commercialising P-OLED microdisplays.

The CIMTEC 2008: Smart Materials, Structures and Systems conference will be held in Acireale, Sicily, Italy from 8 - 13th June 2008. Professor Ian Underwood, CTO of MED will present a talk

MED will exhibit at booth 540 at the SID 2008 exhibition at the Los Angeles Convention Centre from 20 - 22nd May 2008. The technical conference will run from 18 - 23rd May 2008.
