MicroEmissive Displays (MED) reached the finals of the Elektra 07 Awards and attended the award ceremony and dinner at the Hilton on Park Lane on Wednesday 12th December. MED was short-listed in the Research and Development category for the design and development of its QVGA resolution P-OLED microdisplay - eyescreen® ME3204.

MicroEmissive Displays was short-listed for the Best of British Industry Awards 2007 in the “Next Generation” category. The awards ceremony and dinner were held at the Tate Modern on Thursday 8th February. Further details of the event can be found on the Best of British Industry Awards website.
Professor Ian Underwood, co-founder and Strategic Marketing Director of MicroEmissive Displays, has been featured in The Herald as one of the Top 20 Scottish scientists in an article entitled: “Take a note of these names: they’re shaping your future.”
MicroEmissive Displays has been short-listed for the Elektra 06 Product Innovation Award – Reader’s Choice. The readers of Electronics Weekly have been invited to vote for the most innovative product of 2006
MicroEmissive Displays - winner of the IEE Innovation in Engineering Awards 2005 in the Emerging Technologies category.

The IEE Innovation in Engineering Awards recognises and celebrates excellence in engineering innovation across a range of industry sectors and engineering disciplines. Those recognised represent the cream of an international crop of engineers and winners were selected out of hundreds of outstanding entries from around the world by a distinguished panel of judges. Entries were judged on a number of factors including social and economic impact, novelty, and patentability.
